Creation vs. Evolution is a big bull moose to grab by the horns. I'm
here to help you. I have not only attended several conferences about defending the faith but also been a co-presenter
at one and have held a few small talks here around our beautiful state of Maine. I have been studying creationism for almost
ten years now, and am finishing up my B.A. in Biology through Cedarville University in Ohio. I was raised in a Christian home
and was saved at four. I have always been good at science and history, even though I didn't appreciate them much. I was homeschooled
up until high school. When I was a freshman at Morse High School in Bath, I was suprised to hear the science teacher just
talking about evolution as if it was fact. I did a little studying into it, and discovered that sure enough, science has proven*
that evolution is right, and that meant that Scripture was totally wrong. I abandoned the faith for about two years, but could
never fully bring myself to deny God. I began to realize that eternity was held in the balance with the evolution/creation
issue. If I was a monkey's uncle, then who cares, when I died that was it. If creation was right, that meant that God
did exist, the Bible was right, and I was in serious trouble walking away from the Creator of the universe. I began studying,
searching for answers, I was not a library bug...until then.
I found that evolution has some serious gaping holes, and when you really get to know the sciences, evolution will fail every
time. Creation was the only "origin idea" that fit the facts. But I don't want you to take my word for it, or anyone
elses. If you want to find it all yourself, then I will be glad to give guidance wherever possible, if you want help with
the tough issues, I will be glad to walk you through it.
